| | A feature that is sorely lacking from UberNote is an open API for the service. Allowing users to programmatically access and modify their notes will cause an explosion of new users as amateur developers create Facebook apps, Google Gadgets, etc… letting users access UberNote from almost anywhere. I think that most people would agree that the most frustrating aspect of UberNote is that it is locked into a website that must be visited multiple times per day in order to stay on-top of To Do lists and other notes. With an open API, homepage plug-ins, Dashboard Widgets, even stand-alone desktop apps can allow users to access UberNote. I have a number of ideas as to how the API would be constructed and what it may include, however, I leave that up to the UberNote developers, as I do not know the underlying architecture of UberNote. If you would like to discuss this feature further, please let me know. |
