Negative indices in 'tag' folders

I had a note in a tag folder called 'information' which I later archived. The number to the right of the folder name which displays the number of messages in the folder went to -1. When I click on the folder name, I get the message that no notes are found in the folder.

Ubernote keeps crashing in Chrome

I have used Übernote with Chrome before with no problems, but suddenly every time I try to read a note I get a Chrome error message saying 'Something went wrong while displaying this webpage.' I reload, but nothing helps. I can access other parts of the site such as 'Settings', but cannot display notes. I have this problem whether I'm using Chrome on either Mac or Linux (Ubuntu).

Anyone else experiencing this?

FF Ubernote toolbar incompatable with FF 3.6

Sharing Level Not Working

According to the UB Help page, when sharing a note, I should get the option to set the sharing level to allow the listed users to either Read the note or Read and Edit the note. When I use the sharing feature, I'm not getting this option, so all my notes are being shared as "read only". I do need the other users I'm sharing the notes with to be able to edit the notes I've shared with them.

Am I missing something or is there a temporary problem with the sharing feature?

[b]Obviously the user can pinch-zoom to resize the document window again, but you have to do it on every single document you edit, which is annoying. It would be easier if the window didn't change to the wrong size when you click into it.

Firefox ubernote toolbar messes up with other toolbar buttons

Hi,

I noticed that after i installed Ubernote toolbar all my other FF toolbars that i had customized with other buttons were messed up.
The only ones shown after a FF restart were: Back, Forward, Refresh, Cancel and Address bar, all the others disappeared.
At a second FF restart Ubernote button appears, but still the others don't.
Might be some incompatibility with some addons i have...

font problems

When I have a note and I change the font size if I EVER hit the then the next line is smaller.

I select all text in a note
change it to size 4 (14pt)
if I hit anywhere
it changes the font size of the new line to size 3 (12pt)
then if I hit again - it changes that new line to size 2 (10 pt)

So I thought maybe I could change the default font for my account - no luck with that either.

Since I have a mild visiual impairment this is a big problem. I need to have the font size so I can read it, or I'll ahve to find another product to use.

for some reason I cannot mark any of my notes as public any more. The link to my already published notes vanished. And big problem: I cannot mark published notes as private.

Firefox toolbar cannot create new tags

Apparently only existing tags can be used to tag a new note created with the latest Ubernote toolbar 2.0.0

If new ones are added and/or used in conjunction with existing ones, then no tag will be assigned to the new note.

Suggested enhancement: at the moment there is no option "Log in", but there is "Log out", although the user might not have signed in yet. Use the same option for both cases: if the user is not logged in, the label should say "Log in", if the user is logged in then it should say "Log out".

Search for tags made from numbers is buggy

Hi, I have created a tag named 2009 and I have several notes with it.

[b]Expected result:[/b] I expected when searching for 2009, to get all the notes that include 2009 as part of its content, plus the notes that are being tagged with 2009.

Can't move 'Add note' window

When I select 'Add note' from the Firefox toolbar, the note opens up in the lower-right hand corner of the screen, but so far to the right that it extends past the screen's edge. I can't see the entire note and I can't move it either. Please help!

"file format unknown" error on Nokia 6263 T-Mobile

Just signed up because I wanted way to make notes from cellphone that were accessible from other computers (I regularly sync Nokia 6263 using PCSuite to my work laptop MS Outlook 2003. When I tried to access the m.ubernote.com site from my phone's built-in browser, I rcvd "file format unknown" error.

No Body Editing in Android?

I can't seem to edit the body of my notes on the mobile site using my Android browser. I can type in the subject field, but while the browser will highlight the body field, it doesn't seem to recognize it as editable and won't bring up the virtual keyboard.

Is that wrong?

Insert Image no longer working?

The insert image function does not seem to be working anymore.

All my previously inserted images are now broken image symbols, and when I try to insert an new image in a new note, I get a quick flash of an error message (too quick to read) and the result is another broken image icon in the note.

Platform is Ubuntu 9.04, Firefox 3.0.13

Anyone else having this problem?

Note names are not visible in Opera Mini

Hi,

The names of the notes are not visible in Opera Mini. I can login fine and view the notes fine, but I have to use guesswork because there is just a blank line in place of the name (or title) of the note.

I was hoping to use Opera Mini to use the Mobile Ubernote connectivity but this seems be an issue.

Just thought that I should report it.

There are only "Add page to UberNote", "View bookmarks", etc...

Search Chinese characters

There's a problem when searching for Chinese characters. Only the Chinese characters or words following a blank space can be found. Dislike English words, there's no space between Chinese characters.
Actually it's a common problem of many software including Evernote.

Wiki-style links

The Wiki-style links feature (I was one that suggested it) has been marked as done, but I can't make it work. I'm using the link icon on tyhe toolbar. It will provide a URL-style link -- which it enters automatically, not always helpfully -- but I cannot get it to create a simple link to another Ubernote in my list.

How do I do that?

Or is it back to 'feature requests' but explain it a bit better this time? I did use the example of competitor Luminotes -- which I thought was quite clear -- and that does work well.

I simply want to highlight a word or phrase which either creates a link to a new note, or forms a link to an existing note which has that title.

when i upgraded to version 2 of ubernote toolbar in firefox my tollbar button disapear at firefox startup at random luanchs
it may be that its conflicting with another addon i have ( i have many installed)
but disabling ubernote remedies this problem
maybe its because ubernote button in tollbar is not like other button?

Uberclip does not automatically load existing tags

Starting today, when Uberclipping a website and answering "yes" to tag the item, my existing tag list no longer shows up. I get a blank box into which I can type a tag (if I remember the tag's name correctly) and it will be tagged appropriately. It's much easier when the tag list shows up and I can just pick the one I want.

Like at least one other user I found in this forum, my list of tags has exceeded the vertical length of my screen and the pop-up window (the one accessed from the header) to allow for assigning tags to a note doesn't scroll all the way to the bottom. I can't, therefore, access the very bottom-most tags in my tag list. I'm using FF 3.0.6 (PowerPC G3 Mac, 10.4.11, 900 MHz, 640 MB RAM).

Any help resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: I don't understand what happened, but the pop-up tag window I was having troublw with earlier is now working correctly. Go figure.

I tried using UberClip to add the page http://www.ipi.fi/~rainy/Rainmeter/Manual.html, and the page hung. So I hit it a couple more times. It never succeeded, or so I thouhgt. When I tried the UberMark bookmarklet, I got the success message right away.Then when I look at at my notebook, I saw the first three notes actually were added, but when I click on them, it doesn't bring up the editor, and I can't delete these notes.

Any help?

Jumps out of application to "session has been logged out" screen

I'm a new user and have successfully transferred all my notes from Google. I use notes to prepare much of my work prior to formatting for presentation or publication as it's easier than synchronising between desktops/laptops/media. I also use it for clipping stuff when I'm browsing at home and also for reminders etc. It's therefore a good all round tool. The problem I'm having is that whilst using at work I get very frequent 'drop outs' even while in the middle of editing notes. I get sent back to a front screen which says I'n no longer logged in - although I am! I simply click 'My Notes' again and I'm back. Thankfully due to the frequency of saves I never lose much, but it is annoying. I am working behind an NHS secure network connection. Is there a firewall issue or an internet options setting I can change (although there's not a lot that's permissable to change)?

I installed the new iGoogle gadget, and it doesn't seem to be working. In FireFox (latest version), when I try to log into the gadget, all it does is refresh.

It works in Opera, though.

lost formatting and tag window problem

As I mentioned earlier this week in the General Discussions forum (should have posted it here in this Defects forum), some of the original formatting from clipped online articles or portions of articles does not carry through when I open the clipped note from within UberNote. Links and italicization come through and show up just fine, but spaces between paragraphs doesn’t, nor does type size and bolding. (Actually, when I first open a clipped note from within UberNote, all of the article’s original formatting does show, but just for the briefest instant and then vanishes as the article condenses basically into a clip without the original paragraph spacing, type size or bolding.)

Also, I am now unable to change fully edit clipped notes. All user editing functions work as expected except for: increasing or decreasing font size; changing to a different font family; highlighting; changing the color of the text; and, removing formatting eraser. Those functions no longer work at all. This same loss of formatting is also true for notes I create myself in UberNote.

None of these problems existed when I first started using UberNote, which makes me think something’s been corrupted on my end (other than, thankfully, my curmudgeonly view of life).txtPost_CommentEmoticon(':hehe:');

And, oh yeah, the pull-down tag menu still doesn’t scroll all the way to the bottom tag. I can just barely see the top of the last-most tag in my list, but I cannot access it from that pull-down menu. (All tags show just fine under the tag frame on the left hand side of the window.)

Any suggestions as to how I may restore lost formatting to UberNote? Is there a corrupted preference or another file I can trash that would restore the lost functions with a fresh reboot?

These problems exist using the latest versions of both Safari and Firefox.

Edit html background colour

I've had a few clips come in with black background. I can't see any way to remove or reset back to white. I guess it's in the html body background colour. An option to edit raw html would work as a way round but there doesn't seem to be anyway to edit the raw html.

The new 'erase' text format doesn't affect the background colour of the page.

Anyone got any ideas?

Firefox plugin and delicious plugin

In firefox I have both the delicious plugin and the ubernote plugin. When I tries to add a note through the ubernote plugin the delicious plugin gets activated each time I press Tab (to move to the next input field).

Hi guys,

I'm loving the application, but can't seems to get the toolbar intergration to work for me. I'm running this on two systems [Win XP + firefox2 / Win Vista +firefox3] both have the same problems.

I can use any of the "UberClip" "UberMark" "UberSnap" options, all that does is return a bit html/javascript at the bottom of the page. Something like this "

The only way to add a new note is to add something is to click add note and drag it to the pop-up.

Does anyone have any ideas.
