I too am a huge user of the tags feature, I have I think 30 of them, and it was becoming difficult to manage and find the tags I wanted. My original thought was something based on projects or certain working modes, like "Work" or "Personal". I could also see myself using an "order by number of tags used" ordering. Manually ordering the taglist might come in handy once or twice, too, but alphabetical would probably satisfy me for a good while.
