Why not email address forusernames?

The use of email addresses for usernames has become very common. I prefer the technique as it is one that minimizes ll of the ids and passwords needed. It's a very user friendly technique.

So, I was surprised to see this brand new web2.0 service lunched using the antiquated method that doesn't allow email addresses as usernames.

I imagine one reason might be to allow the same username for both the service and the forum. Disallowing an email address keeps those addresses from being displayed in the forum. If that's the case, it is a poor compromise. It would be much better to sue a modern username technique and to require a different display name for the forums.

... or, is there another reason?

4. Improved International Features
There is now the ability to save accented characters in addition to searching for them with or without accents.

Does this mean the editor is simply honoring the character set of the user's keyboard, or is there something more to it?

attaching a file in a note?

Somewhere I saw some blurbs in this site about putting images, links and files in a note. I can't seem to drop or paste a file into a note. Maybe this is because files will take up too much space? A file drop would be ultra handy.

I have just started using ubernote. I see in your updates that task items with check boxes can be added. Can someone explain how do I do that?

Viewing a list of titles

Is is possible to view a list of note titles that meet a search criteria and then just open the one note you want to look at? Could this be an option we could set up in our account info?

Future dates

Can I set up a note by date to be implemented. For example, can I set a note to pay a bill some time in the future and sort notes starting with the current date and trailing off into future dates

UberTip: Integrated Task Items Usage

With the recently added integrated task item feature in UberNote, you can manage you task list items in a whole new way.

1. Write notes on anything you want
2. Put your task items right in your notes just you would in a written notebook. (Instead of one note with task items)
3. Use the "Open Tasks" list to find any note that has undone tasks!

You never have to worry about aggregating tasks or flipping through your notes trying to figure out what isn't done.

We've decided to drop the version number from the Title of the main application page. We've also decided to drop it from any public announcement. At least in a minor version sort of way.

It makes sense with web software, since have no choice on any other version of the software.
