| | Working from home, I created a note (an address list), gave it a tag, and added about 15 entries. I logged out and when I logged back in a few minutes later, all the content I had added was there. But when I began to type in a new entry to the note, everything I had typed before diseappeared from the note. It is not in the trash and the help screen did not provide any guidance. Is there any way to recover lost content? |

| | We do automatically store note revisions, but only after an hour. It sounds like based on your note edits being only a few minutes apart, we won't have any revisions stored. By chance did your note contents disappear when you used either the browser back button or the backspace?

| | Possibly the backspace, probably not the "back" button. |

Hi George,
Because this is obviously an issue that is unacceptable, we implemented an Undo/Redo for IE, which should help to alleviate this problem as well as enable you to undo/redo like you would in a normal document editor. Hopefully this will keep you from losing any more information, but if you do see your contents disappear again, please let us know what you did just before the contents went blank! Fixing the underlying issue is just as important as being able to recover from it!
Thanks,
Shane |
